Event Series Event Series: Nomad Discussion Group

Nomad Discussion Group

“Stumbling through the post-Christendom wilderness, looking for signs of hope.”

is how Nomad podcast describes itself. If this sounds like your kind of thing then can we encourage you to give it a listen?

Then why not join a bunch of us Nomad listeners, each month, on the second Sunday at 7:30-8:30 pm, for a Zoom discussion on a specific episode each month. Its open to everyone, and none of us are experts, but we love to reflect together on what we’ve heard, and what we’ve taken from it, as well as sharing some of our own experiences. Ideally, listen to the podcast ahead of our meeting, and take a few notes, and we’ll share in our reflections together and see where it takes us.

June 9 @ 7:30 pm 8:30 pm BST

Our next episode for conversation

We tend to choose the next podcast for listening, at the end of each monthly meeting, so check out here in the month before to see which episode you need to listen to. If you want to listen to any of the selection and make a recommendation, then check out the link below.

Next month we’ll be listening to the following…

Professor Anthony Reddie and Revd. Dr. Al Barrett join us for a conversation about whiteness. Weaving personal experiences with theological insights, they reflect on privilege, power, empire, race and identity, and wrestle with the need for both critical deconstruction and hopeful reimagining. It’s a nuanced and inspiring conversation between two scholar activists about the pursuit of a more just world.

Interview starts at 19m 36s
