Northumbrian morning prayer

A small group, of between 4 and 12 presently meet each Sunday morning in-person, at Acomb Methodist Church at 9:15 am to pray through a simple liturgy of Northumbrian Morning Prayer. It is a simple structure, with very short bible verses and a reflection, and time for us to share openly in prayer for around ten minutes in the middle. This prayer forms part of the Northumbrian Community’s rule of life and those who are part of their movement will meet in homes around the country to pray together at several times during the day. Obviously, not everyone may be able to join us physically, but you can do so at home using the online liturgy, or perhaps you could initiate your own group that meets at a different time, or a different day, or even using a different liturgy as part of your Kairos Movement belonging.
There is no need to warn us in advance, just turn up. We meet in Room 5, which is down the long corridor from the side entrance of the church.
