Sunday Bible Study worship

On the first Sunday of the Month, 10:30am you are invited to join a partnership between Andy’s York churches and the Kairos Movement, for a time of Bible Study and Worship.

Each Sunday, we will walk through the E100 New Testament Essential Bible Readings, as a series.  This will begin very stripped down, as a simple gathering, but we hope to develop it as a time of worship, shaped by those who gather, as we proceed.  

It is not our intent, for this to become in any way the defacto way in which Kairos gathers or worships.  In fact just the opposite, It is our goal medium term, for more indigenous, less formal (and less Sunday focussed) worship gatherings to emerge from ogranically from our grass roots.  However, we hope in the meantime this will offer an opportunity for some of us to gather and ‘breathe in’ as part of our own spiritual diet.  It will also enable Andy to fulfill his serve in his bridging ministry between his traditional and more pioneering ministry.

The present plan is each time we meet, Andy will offer some brief reflections and a little background to the readings, as we read through them together and prompt some discussion as we do so.   How you respond, and what jumps out of you, is likely to shape how we respond together to the passage.
